A few years back, my brother-in-law had fallen asleep smoking, and the bed caught on fire. He was immediately hospitalized because he had horrible third degree burns over much of his body. I had only met him once, during a visit to my husband's family and had no connection with him at all. But during the time that he was in the hospital, I had been awakened in the middle of the night, actually, at 3:01 AM, exactly, but the sound of rushing winds and an eerie blast of very cold air. The next morning, we received a call that he had died. We were told that the time of death was around 3:00 AM. I knew then that the sound of rushing wind and that cold air, was his spirit, and that he, for some reason, knew how to come to me before departing, though at that time I had no idea why.

Then there was the tragedy that was September 11, 2001. That night when I went to sleep, I asked to go into spirit and assist the souls that perished in crossing over. As soon as my head hit the pillow, I heard that same rushing sound of wind, and found myself in NYC, as if it was just happening. I got the impression that there were others there who were helping as I was, and that they knew me and were glad that I had arrived to assist. When I woke up the next morning, as I stood there doing mundane things like brushing my teeth, suddenly I remembered what I had done the night before. WHY did I know to ask to go into spirit? I wondered. And HOW did I know I even could?!?

As time progressed, I was certified in LaHo-Chi energy healing, and quickly discovered that I was able to contact people who died were related to one of my clients who had recently died. I would see pictures in my mind's eye, pictures that related to the life that the deceased person and my client had in common. Pictures that meant nothing in particular to me, but which meant a lot to my client(s).

It was this combination of mediumship and of assisting the souls of the 911 victims that enabled me to understand that I could contact the soul of a person who was close to making their transition. I realized that I was led to, and supposed to, do this to help and assist them, and of course, their beloved families.

My work is first with the person about to transition. I contact their soul to find out what they need to complete before crossing over. Some people are worried about the family they will leave behind; some are afraid that leaving their body will hurt; and even some are afraid because they don't know where they will be going. Whatever their need is, I address it and assist them with their own angels and guides. I also work closely with the family, and let them know the concerns of their loved ones. Often I see where the departing soul has gone or is going to, and do my best to draw it for the family, or describe it to them. This gives the family an immense feeling of peace and acceptance, especially for those who have family and loved ones who are non-communicative.

In this regard, my healing work involves all stages of healing, which includes every stage of human life, from birth to death, as well as assisting people to the other side.

Many people are very uncomfortable around death. I am not. It feels like just another stage of life to me, and crossing over is a return to our most natural state of Being.
