Finding Furry Friends

A few years ago, on the 4th of July, my friend called me very upset because she had spent the whole day looking for her newly adopted dog, Sheila. Sheila was hanging out at the family barbecue, and following traditional in Independence Day celebrations across the United States, firecrackers were lit. Sheila had taken off flying down the street in terror at the noise. Sheila was adopted from the local animal shelter, and my friend did not realize the noise would scare her so.

Immediately after I heard about Sheila, I started seeing "pictures" in my mind's eye….I do not have to close my eyes to do this. I just put the animals name in my head. I was seeing an expanse of golf course, and reported this back to my friend that evening. The family went to the closest golf course the next day to post flyers, and a caretaker saw them. He had seen Sheila there! They called me back, and then I was seeing a campground. This continued for a couple days, it seemed as if I was seeing where she had just been. Finally, I reported she was looking at mailboxes all in a row…they were all white…white posts, white mailboxes. They found her wandering around a neighborhood and nearby…. there were the white mailboxes in a row!

I have found dogs and cats, but I would not rule out any animal! I have found one cat that had already crossed over to kitty heaven, but her family found her and was able to do a ceremonial burial for her. Usually if the animal has already passed, I can get a read on where they were last, so perhaps the family can lay their friend to rest.
